Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia to take place this year

Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2022 . / Kabar / . The Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia will be held this year, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday. An online meeting was held on Monday between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbaev and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Waleed El Khereiji. During the conversation, the sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Saudi relations and agreed to take effective steps to further strengthen political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. The two foreign ministers stressed the need to organize reciprocal visits at all levels, interagency political consultations, and the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Saudi Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation. In connection with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia, the sides agreed to hold joint Cultural Days of the two countries, tourism and business forums in 2022. The Saudi side appreciated the close cooperation of the two countries within international organizations such as the UN and the OIC.
