COVID-19: Plane with humanitarian cargo from Turkey lands in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 15, 2020. /Kabar/. Turkey has provided humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan to fight СOVID-19 coronavirus infection, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported Wednesday.
"In the framework of agreements, reached as a result of a telephone conversation between Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on July 6, 2020, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Kyrgyz and Turkish Governments on the provision of humanitarian assistance in the field of health care was signed on July 7, 2020," the report reads.
The plane with humanitarian cargo from the brotherly country landed at Manas International Airport today, at 11:00 a.m.
The humanitarian aid consists of:
- 20 artificial lung ventilator (ALV),
- 50 oxygen concentrators,
- 20 thousand sets of PCR test,
- 20 thousand sets of reagents for detecting the virus,
- 50 thousand protective masks N95,
- 100 thousand surgical masks,
- 35 thousand protective suits,
- 2 thousand protective masks - visors
- 10 thousand packages of hydroxychloroquine tablets.
On Feb. 11-12, the Turkish Health Ministry handed over to Kyrgyzstan 200 packs of test system, 5,000 disposable masks, 200 protective suits, 100 masks with protective filter and 12 protective glasses.
