COVID-19: Kyrgyzstan reports 40,158 recoveries

Bishkek, Sept. 8, 2020. /Kabar/. Over the past 24 hours, another 198 patients throughout Kyrgyzstan have cured of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova told a news briefing. A total of 40 thousand 158 Kyrgyzstanis have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic. Kyrgyzstan registered Monday 68 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections to 44 thousand 526. Currently, 551 COVID-19 patients are still in hospitals throughout the country and 2,627 patients are receiving treatment at home. One new virus related death has been registered over the past day, bringing the COVID-19 fatality rate in Kyrgyzstan to 1,062.
