COVID-19: Kyrgyzstan confirms 144 more recoveries

Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2020. /Kabar/. 144 more recoveries from COVID-19 coronavirus infection were registered in Kyrgyzstan in the past day, Ainura Akmatova, the head of the Public Health Department of the country’s Health Ministry reported at a news briefing Friday. Thus, number of nationwide recoveries from novel coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan has climbed to 40 thousand 631 since the first case was detected on March 18, 2020. As of Sept. 11, Kyrgyzstan reported 77 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 44, 761. Today, 514 patients are being treated in hospitals, while 2,165 people are receiving treatment at home. No death was reported from the virus over the past day, the death toll stands at 1,063. According to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, the current recovery rate from the virus in Kyrgyzstan is 90.7 percent and the fatality rate is 2.3 percent.
