China sends batch of COVID-19 vaccine to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 19, 2021 / Kabar /. An airplane with batches of COVID-19 vaccine for Kyrgyzstan departed from Beijing today, the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan said. As previously reported, China will donate 150,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to Kyrgyzstan as a humanitarian aid. Earlier Minister of Health and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told that vaccinations will start in late March or early April. “The batch of vaccine, which will arrive from China, is enough for 75,000 people,” the minister said. According to a national vaccination program, doctors, teachers, employees of law enforcement agencies, workers of service sectors, trade and catering will be vaccinated first. At the second stage, it is planned to vaccinate people aged 60 and over and then volunteers.
