Checkpoint at Kyrgyz-Chinese state border temporarily closed: Kyrgyz Border Service

On the initiative of the Chinese side, due to a severe deterioration in weather conditions, the Torugart - Avtodorozhnyi checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border is temporarily closed on Oct. 12 for the movement of goods. According to the press service of the Kyrgyz State Border Service, the checkpoint operates in the previous regime according to a special algorithm that provides only the movement of goods from the People's Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic.
