California considering possibility of attracting investment in tourism sector in Issyk-Kul

Bishkek, Jan. 11, 2021. /Kabar/. Governor of Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul Oblast Elchibek Dzhantayev received advisor to governor of California (U.S). Vitaly Karikh. According to the oblast state administration, the meeting discussed bilateral cooperation issues in the development of tourism, culture and education. Governor Dzhantayev emphasized the importance of applying the experience of California in the development of agriculture and innovation in Issyk-Kul Oblast. “It is important for us to apply the experience of California in the spheres of culture, tourism, education, agriculture and information technology, for which the state is famous. We hope for close cooperation with the leadership of the state,” the governor said. Advisor to California governor Vitaly Karikh, the state is considering the possibility of attracting investment in the tourism sector of Issyk-Kul Oblast. "Issyk-Kul has a good potential in attracting tourists in different directions, and that's why the state government is considering the possibility of investing in the tourism sector," he said.
