Another meeting of Kyrgyzstan's HQ for Combating COVID-19 held

Bishkek, Oct. 9, 2020. /Kabar/. Another meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 was held Thursday, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government said. During the meeting, representatives of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry emphasized the growth of coronavirus cases in a number of regions of the country and recording fatalities. The meeting participants discussed the progress of construction of medical institutions in regions of the country and the cities of Bishkek and Osh, as well as issues of equipping these health facilities. Besides, issues of purchase of medical equipment, maintenance of a stock of medicines, individual protection means were considered. Profile state bodies were instructed to accelerate the work on the implementation of range of necessary measures. Instructions were also given to control the epidemiological situation on the ground, prevent fatal cases, and provide general training to medical institutions. Deputy Prime Ministers Erkin Asrandiyev and Aida Ismailova took part in the meeting of the Republican Headquarters.
