Ambassador Abdyldayev meets with activists and leaders of diaspora in Germany

Bishkek, Sept. 23, 2020. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Federal Republic of Germany Erlan Abdyldayev held meetings with the Kyrgyz diaspora activists residing in the federal states of Hessen and North Rhine-Westphalia. Representatives of BIZ and Kyrgyz Club Germany public associations also took part in the meetings, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported. During a constructive dialogue with Kyrgyz citizens Ambassador Erlan Abdyldayev emphasized his first meeting as an Ambassador with his compatriots, as well as the fact that similar meetings in various formats will be held on a regular basis in other federal states of Germany, including through the establishment of public associations and actions to help and support Kyrgyzstan. The ambassador informed that on Oct. 4, 2020 elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh will be held, and citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic living outside the country have the right to exercise their right to vote in the presence of consular registration and biometrics. During the meetings, the citizens of Germany - former citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic were informed about the adoption of the Law regulating the status of a compatriot with foreign citizenship - Meken Card. At present, the Kyrgyz Government is developing a mechanism to implement this Law. The meeting participants positively estimated introduction of legislative norms for such category of citizens. They were also provided with information about the step-by-step conversion of consular services to electronic format, which greatly simplifies the procedure for receiving and reviewing documents. Erlan Abdyldayev expressed his gratitude to compatriots for their help in the fight against COVID - 19 in Kyrgyzstan during the aggravation of the crisis in spring and summer this year. BIZ (Bildung, Initiative, Zusammenarbeit - education, initiative, cooperation) Public organization of the Kyrgyz people in the Federal Land of Hessen, consonant with the word "WE", in the spring of 2020 held a campaign to raise funds to help the poor in the Kyrgyz Republic in the form of distribution of food kits through one of the public organizations in the republic in the amount of about EUR 2 thousand. In July 2020, also through a public organization in the Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyz medical institutions were provided with assistance in the amount of more than EUR 7 thousand. The Kyrgyz Club Germany diaspora public association was founded in 2010 and is the largest dialogue platform. Most of its participants are citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, helping each other to adapt to local life conditions, advising on various issues in education, medicine, labor, etc.
