Abay’s Gold Medal of TURKSOY awarded to Speaker of Grand National Assembly of Turkey

Bishkek, Jan. 27, 2021 / Kabar /. The International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) presented the gold medal in honor of Abay to Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop. Secretary General of TURKSOY Dusen Kasseinov and Deputy Secretary General Bilal Cakıcı paid a visit to Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop in his office. At the meeting, Kasseinov handed the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop the TURKSOY Gold Medal in honor of Abay, established by TURKSOY in connection with the 175th anniversary of the birth of the famous Kazakh poet and educator Abay Kunanbayev, as a token of gratitude for his special contribution to the process of rapprochement between cultures in 2020 year.
