96% of Kyrgyzstan’s settlements covered by mobile Internet

Today, Sept. 7 at a press conference at Kabar News Agency, Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications (SCITC) of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynbek Ismailov told about the statistics of mobile Internet coverage in the country. According to him, currently more than 96% of settlements in the country are covered by mobile Internet. "Such technologies as 3-4G and 2G are used there. In other words, the majority of our citizens have an opportunity to enter the world network", Ismailov said.
