549 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 21, 2020 / Kabar /. 549 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan over the past day. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country hit 53,459. According to the latest report of the country’s Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, among the new cases 125 cases in Bishkek, Osh city - 37, Chui Oblast - 53, Osh Oblast - 82, Talas Oblast - 10, Naryn Oblast - 4, Issyk-Kul Oblast - 24, Jalal-Abad Oblast - 117, Batken Oblast - 97. The headquarters also said that 10 medical workers tested positive over the past day, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,555. 305 patients recovered over the past 24 hours, raising the total recoveries in the country to 46,444. 5 new deaths are reported over the last 24 hours, the death toll stands at 1,118. Currently, 2,796 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 2,612 patients - at home.
