35,486 Kyrgyzstanis recovered from novel coronavirus

Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 289 patients have cured of coronavirus in the past day, Deputy Health Minister of the republic Nurbolot Usenbayev told a daily news briefing. A total of 35 thousand 486 Kyrgyzstanis have recovered from COVID-19 since the outbreak of the virus. The country reported 182 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the total caseload to 42,507. No one virus-related death was recorded in the previous 24 hours, the death toll in the country stands at 1,054. In addition, 1309 patients are receiving treatment at hospitals.
