310 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug. 13, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan added 310 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the total infections in the country to 41,069. Among the new cases 75 cases are laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 235 cases of pneumonia, Ainura Akmatova, the head of the public health care department of the country’s Health Ministry told a daily news briefing. She also added that 10 of the new cases are medical workers, bringing the caseload of infected medical workers to 2,991. 291 more patients had completed their period of treatment, bringing the number of recoveries to 33,318, including 2,271 recoveries among medical workers. Meanwhile 3 lethal cases from the coronavirus were registered over the past 24 hours, raising the country's COVID-19 death toll to 1,487.
