31 more recoveries from COVID-19 registered in Kyrgyzstan, total at 83,606

Bishkek, March 9, 2021. / Kabar /. In Kyrgyzstan, another 31 recoveries from COVID-19 coronavirus infection were reported in the past day, Head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova told during a briefing on Tuesday. According to the latest data of the Health Ministry’s representative, the country’s total number of recoveries from the novel coronavirus has reached 83,606 since the start of the pandemic. Kyrgyzstan reported 23 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 86,606. Akmatova also said that the death toll from coronavirus has climbed to 1,475 after two more virus-related fatalities were recorded in the past day. Currently, 330 people are hospitalized across the country and 256 patients are receiving treatment at home. 2,271 PCR tests were conducted in the last 24 hours across Kyrgyzstan.
