298 new COVID-19 cases revealed in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's tally of novel coronavirus cases has reached 48,097 after 298 new ones were added on Wednesday. According to the report from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, 8 out of total number of fresh cases were revealed among medical workers. Total of 3,354 medics have contracted coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,069 of them have already recovered. Another 154 people with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have cured in the past day. Thus, number of nationwide recoveries from COVID-19 has climbed to 43,798. The country's death toll has risen to 1,069 as 3 more coronavirus-related fatalities were registered over the past 24 hours. Currently, 1,325 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals of the country, and 1,450 - at home.
