298 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 12, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Monday 298 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 49,528.
The republican headquarters on COVID-19 said that among the new cases 22 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3437, including 3,089 recoveries.
It has reported the recovery of 127 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 44,522.
5 new deaths are reported over the last 24 hours, in total the pandemic has so far claimed the lives of 1,090 people in Kyrgyzstan.
Currently, 1,737 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 1,725 patients - at home.
The headquarters said that an increase in the number of new cases of coronavirus infection is observed in Kyrgyzstan, and deaths are recorded every day.
In this connection it called the citizens to comply with sanitary standards: wear a mask, observe social distance, wash hands often with soap and an antiseptic.
