234 more Kyrgyzstanis beat novel coronavirus

Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Over the past 24 hours, another 234 patients throughout Kyrgyzstan have recovered from novel coronavirus, Deputy Health Minister of the republic Nurbolot Usenbayev told a daily news briefing Friday. A total of 37 thousand 726 Kyrgyzstanis have cured of COVID-19 since the outbreak of the virus. As of Aug. 28, the country reported 128 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total cases registered in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic to 43,587. There are still 5554 active cases in the country, 810 are in hospitals and 4,744 patients are receiving treatment at home. The COVID-19 fatality rate in Kyrgyzstan stands at 1,058, as no new deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours.
