Lavrov currently holding talks with Saudi foreign minister in Moscow

MOSCOW, March 9. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is holding talks in Moscow with Saudi Arabia’s top diplomat Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud, according to a TASS reporter.

The meeting began at 12:19 p.m. Moscow time.

The talks are Lavrov’s fifth with Al Saud since the latter became Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister. The two top diplomats have met twice on the sidelines of multilateral events - at the G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting in Indonesia in 2022 and in India earlier this month. The two foreign ministers also maintain regular communication on the phone.
