Kyrgyz Prime Minister Atambaev says Turkey, Kyrgyzstan undersign important decisions
BISHKEK (A.A) - 02.02.2011 - Kyrgyz Prime Minister Almazbek Atambaev said on Wednesday that they were glad that Turkey and Kyrgyzstan undersigned important decisions and documents.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Atambaev held a joint press conference in Bishkek.
Atambaev said that they were glad that Erdogan always supported Kyrgyzstan.
Turkey and Kyrgyzstan agreed on establishment of High Strategic Cooperation Council between the two countries, he said. The first meeting of the council would be held in Turkey in March, Atambaev said.
The two countries would work to boost cooperation, he said.
Turkey provided a donation of 10 million U.S. dollars to Kyrgyzstan, he said.
Atambaev said that several projects were developed in his country with support of Turkish International Development and Cooperation Agency (TIKA) and these projects were worth 10-15 million U.S. dollars.
