Int’l doctors in Iran to treat chemical warfare veterans
Tehran, IRNA – A team of international doctors has visited Iran to provide chemical warfare veterans with medical counseling and treatment services at the Khatam Al-Anbiya Hospital in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
Head of the Shafa Neuroscience Research Center at the Khatam Al-Anbiya Hospital Ali Gorji announced the presence of an international team of doctors to treat veterans is at the official invitation of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs.
The specialist doctors will examine chemical warfare veterans and review their medical records to provide them with medical counseling, Gorji said, noting that the dispatch of international doctors has been occurring for several years and that the doctors will also carry out various brain and neurosurgery operations.
The physician went on to say that the hospital is capable of performing 100% of operations concerning veterans’ health problems, and they do not need to travel abroad for healthcare affairs.
