Zhaparov lays flowers at Monument to Independence and Humanism in Tashkent

Bishkek, March 11, 2021 . / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov laid flowers at the Monument to the Independence and Humanism on the Mustaqillik Maydoni (Independence Square) in Tashkent, his press service said. The Kyrgyz leader, accompanied by soldiers of the guard of honor, laid flowers at the foot of the Monument. President Sadyr Zhaparov is in Uzbekistan for a two-day state visit. At the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov, the Kyrgyz leader was met by Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov. Within the framework of the visit, Zhaparov will hold bilateral talks with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The heads of state will discuss topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for further development and building effective interaction. During the visit, it is also planned to hold bilateral meetings between President Sadyr Zhaparov and Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nurdinjon Ismoilov and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.
