Youth, sports minister expresses pride in royal trust

Manama, Apr. 15 (BNA): Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Hesham bin Mohammed Al-Jowdar extended his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the royal trust bestowed upon him by appointing him as the Minister of Youth and Sportd Affairs and in charge of the General Organisation for Youth and Sport (GOYS). Al-Jowdar took pride in the royal trust conferred on him, noting that it will motivate him to exert all efforts in promoting youth and sports, thanks to the support of HM the king, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. He pointed out that the remarkable achievements of youth and sports in Bahrain had been attained thanks to the continued support and follow-up by His Majesty the King's Representative for Charity and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
