Works Minister visits Princess Sabeeka Community Centre

Manama, Sept. 6 (BNA): Works Minister Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf paid an inspection visit to the (HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa All-in-One) Community Centre in Honainiya Dale. The project's construction has recently been completed and procedures of its delivery to the relevant Social Development Ministry is underway. The minister said his visit to the centre comes as part of constant follow up by the ministry of implementation of construction of projects in the Kingdom, including health centres, sports facilities and community centres, to check latest development in the workflow of buildings construction undertaken by the Works Ministry. The minister praised the remarkable role of the Supreme Council of Women (SCW) and its constant cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development to achieve the goals of boosting the standard of services provided in the Kingdom to all community components. The centre is the first of its type in terms of size and special facilities to provide all community services designed with innovative features over a total space of 18,000 square metres, with buildings constructed on a space of 8,350 square metres. The centre aims to boost domestic productivity projects training and enlightenment workshops, community health awareness campaigns and lectures in distinctive community centres whilst taking into consideration highest technical specifications and standards commensurate with the Kingdom's civilised image.
