Wonderful Indonesia Attracts Attention Of B-Travel Visitors

LONDON, April 25 (Antara) - Wonderful Indonesia, a promotional movie on Indonesian tourism that won several awards as the best tourism promotion film drew attention and received praises from professional visitors at the B-Travel Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain.
B Travel is a three-day event being held from April 21 to 23, 2017, at the Fira de Barcelona in Barcelona, to showcase products, such as travel agencies, food and wines, and rural tourism.
Indonesian Ambassador to Spain Yuli Mumpuni Widarso remarked that during the event, the Embassy in Madrid showcased the Wonderful Indonesia movie, alternating with promotional films from various tourism destinations in Indonesia.
Widarso said the Wonderful Indonesia film really attracted the attention of thousands of people visiting the Indonesian pavilion at the B-Travel Exhibition, which presented a wide variety of tourism destinations all around the world, including from Indonesia.
The tourism fair was a response to the main motivation of today's tourist: the opportunity to enjoy experiences on their trip.
The fair revolves around sensations, and the products on offer are segregated into five major sections: B-Happy, or well-being experiences in company; B-Special, or unique ideas; B-Culture for lovers of art, history, and culture; B-Adventure, or trips featuring sport, nature, and adventure; and B-Delicious, or ideas relating to gastronomy and wine tourism.
Ambassador Widarso expressed hope that increasingly more number of travel agents, travel operators, and tourism industry players from Indonesia would participate in similar tourism marketing activities to increase the number of Spanish tourists visiting Indonesia.
The Indonesian Embassy in Madrid views B-Travel as a strategic tourism exhibition and as a concrete step in marketing tourism destinations in Indonesia to European and Latin American markets.
