Will Kyrgyzstan export grain from Russia? Answer of Ministry of Economic Commerce

Bishkek, March 23, 2022 / Kabar/. Eldar Alisherov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, answered the question during a briefing in Bishkek whether Kyrgyzstan will export grain from Russia. He said that it is already known that Russia has introduced some temporary restrictions on the export of grain to third countries, however, an export quota has been set for the EAEU countries. “At the EEC site, the issue of grain exports from the Russian Federation to the EAEU countries was discussed. Now the member countries of the Union must provide information on their production-consumption balance, on the basis of which grain export quotas for each country will be determined,” the deputy minister said. So, until March 25, all countries will provide information on the amount of grain purchases. “This issue has been resolved. There are no problems here,” the deputy minister concluded.
