Wide participation in Muharraq National Document

Manama, Aug 5 (BNA): Signatories to Muharraq National Document, on its fifth day, condemned the repeated blatant Iranian interference in Bahrain's internal affairs, rejecting statements launched by Iranian officials which are in violation of principles of good neighborliness, international laws and norms and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. Among the signatories were a number of parliamentarians, officials and NGO members, who welcomed the Cabinet's resolve to promptly bring perpetrators, accomplices and supporters of Sitra terror bombing to justice. The signatories expressed support for all steps taken by Bahrain's wise leadership aimed at rooting out terrorism and maintaining the homeland's security and stability, which are vital to the success of the development process. They hailed the commended efforts of the Interior Ministry's personnel led by Interior Minister Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in foiling weapons and explosives smuggling attempts from Iran which refuges fugitives and trains terrorists.
