What does Kyrgyzstan import from Russia?

Bishkek, June 9, 2022. /Kabar/. At a plenary session of the Ninth Russia-Kyrgyzstan Interregional Conference, Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev told about import-export between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The minister noted that the major share of Kyrgyz exports to Russia is represented by light and textile industry products (clothes, footwear, other textile products, cotton fiber), fruits and vegetables, nuts, milk products, leather products, scrap and waste of ferrous and nonferrous metals, electric light bulbs, spare parts for vehicles, oil products (aviation kerosene), etc. "On the contrary, fuel and energy resources (oil products, natural gas), food products and agricultural raw materials, products of chemical industry, ferrous metals and products made of them, timber and pulp and paper products, machinery, equipment and vehicles, their parts, textiles and shoes, etc. are imported from Russia to Kyrgyzstan," Amangeldiev said. The official added that Kyrgyzstan is interested in cooperation with leading Russian companies, which are world leaders in such sectors as energy, industry and infrastructure, tourism and new technologies.
