Western states sell high-priced weapons in Middle East - Ahmadinejad

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 12 /Trend S.Isayev, T. Jafarov/ The Western states not only have brought their military equipment to the region, they also sell high-priced weapons here, Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said during his speech in Bandar-E-Jask in country's Hormozgan province, IRNA reported. Ahmadinejad noted that Western States want to dominate in the region, adding that this is one of West's primary objectives. "They started in Afghanistan, claiming it is for security purposes," Ahmadinejad noted. "While in reality, they have their own interests here, and the security talk is basically a lie". Not long ago, The U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the Persian Gulf-U.S. security forum in Riyadh announced the idea of a missile defense shield in the six Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
