Volume of Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade reach USD 660.5 mln in January

The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of Kyrgyzstan in January 2022 amounted to $660.5 million and compared to January 2021 increased by 1.8 times, Chinara Turdubaeva, the head of the Department of Summary Works, Communications and Dissemination of Statistics of the republic’s National Statistics Committee told during a press conference. She added that exports increased by 18.1%, and imports - 2 times. The volume of mutual trade of the Kyrgyz Republic with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in January 2022 amounted to $265 million and in comparison with January 2021 increased by 1.5 times. In this case, exports grew by 1.8 times, imports - 1.4 times. Russia accounted for the largest share of mutual trade of the republic with EAEU member states (71.3%) and Kazakhstan (27%).
