Volume of exchange trading in EAEU amounted to USD 4.2 tln in first quarter of 2022

According to the results of the first quarter of this year, the total volume of exchange trading in Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to USD 4.2 trillion and increased by 25% compared to 2021. The growth was achieved mainly due to foreign exchange transactions and repo transactions, says on the website of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Trading volumes on the largest commodity exchanges reached USD 5.6 billion and increased by 8%. The trading section "Petroleum Products" at the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange showed the largest volume.
