Uzbekistan ready to intensify investment cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

Uzbekistan is ready to intensify investment cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov told during the opening ceremony of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund, which was held at the Ala-Archa state residencev in Bishkek. He said that Kyrgyzstan is not just a neighbor of Uzbekistan, but a fraternal people with a common history, culture and traditions. “In recent years, the trade turnover between the countries has increased 5 times. So, we plan to continue to develop and increase our partnership potential, as well as to intensify our investment potential,” he said. At the same time, Umurzakov noted that the fund would serve to achieve tangible results within the framework of cooperation. “I hope that soon we will begin the full-scale implementation of this fund,” the Vice Prime Minister summed up.
