Georgia, Tbilisi, April 27 /Trend N.Kirtzkhalia/ U.S. Senator John McCain sent a message to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, which proposes using the Chicago summit of NATO to support Georgia. The Chicago Summit is a great opportunity to express support for Georgia, the senator says. The Georgian broadcasting company provided the text of the letter. 'I call upon you to continue diplomatic efforts to ensure that this Summit will mark significant progress towards the integration of Georgia into NATO and it will be a good opportunity for the membership of Tbilisi', the message says. McCain also noted Georgia's participation in the Afghan peacekeeping mission and the desire to further democracy. The senator called the State Secretary to use the Chicago summit to once again support the territorial integrity of Georgia and emphasised that the United States is taking the lead in the way of Georgia's NATO aspirations.
