US Government Fully Supports Doha Peace Agreement on Darfur

Khartoum, May 31 (QNA) - US Envoy to Darfur Dan Smith has asserted the US government's full support of the Doha Peace Agreement on Darfur. In a statement issued here on Thursday following his meeting with Chairman of the Transitional Darfur Regional Authority Dr. Al-Tigani Al-Sessi, Smith clarified that both parties discussed the implementation of the agreement and related issues as well as the results of the International Donors Conference in Doha. He expressed his full satisfaction with achievements and called for speeding implementation steps for comprehensive and lasting peace in Darfur. (QNA)
