UOB4 LIFE to start tomorrow

Manama, Apr. 27 (BNA): Under the patronage of the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, UOB4 LIFE forum will start tomorrow in the University of Bahrain (UoB)'s Sakheer campus, with the participation of GCC student delegations. UoB's Dean of Student Affairs Osama Al-Jowder affirmed UoB's keenness on organising scientific events and youth forums, pointing out that UOB LIFE is one of the activities that has been always supported by Shaikh Nasser. Al-Jowder said that the three-day forum will address three key topics, which are health and sports' importance in the youths lives, young people awareness about the role of economic development and its importance in the national prosperity and humanitarian work, which aims to serve the community. He said that UOB4 LIFE concept is based on launching an interactive city that include all specialisations and highlights the basics of life in the community, through workshops, debates and seminars and various other events in order to achieve the forum's vision. The organising committee has held recently an introductory meeting about the forum's concept, objectives and methods.
