Unstable weather expected on Monday, Tuesday

Manama, May 3 (BNA): The Meteorological Department at the Civil Aviation Directorate forecast an unstable weather on Monday and Tuesday, with a chance of rainshowers, which may become thundery at times with warm southeasterly winds, an official source announced. The same source called upon the citizens, especially sea farers, to be cautious. He explained that low air pressure coming from the Mediterranean towards the northern regions of the Arabian Peninsula will cause unstable weather in the region. The region is going through what is locally known as "Al-Sarayat" season, known for unstable weather conditions such as sudden strong winds or dust storms, and low visibility. It worth noting that the average maximum temperature in May is 34.1 C, and minimum is 26 C, while the average rainfall is 1.1 mm, with the highest rainfall of 11.9 recorded in Bahrain in May 1957.
