UB FOOD FESTIVAL TO BE HELD THIS WEEKEND

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ulaanbaatar city Tourism Department in collaboration with Gerel Plus Media Group will organize ‘UB Food Festival’ on the weekend, August 24-26, at the National Amusement Park for the sixth year. The festival aims at publicizing unique culture of Mongolian cuisine to domestic and foreign citizens, increasing the number of tourism products and developing special interest tourism. As of today, over 40 entities and citizens have been registered to participate in the festival. During the UB Food Festival, visitors will be able to enjoy all foods at MNT 1000-5000. On the second day of the festival, the first competition named after Ulaanbaatar city under two themes ‘Ulaanbaatar soup’ and ‘Ulaanbaatar bowl food’ will be organized. Moreover, the best street food restaurant and chefs will be selected. Additionally, the festival will feature various entertainment activities, art and cultural programs and competitions among visitors, such as 'Who eats the most hotdog and burger?', 'With father', 'Ice-cream festival' and 'Airag festival'.
