UAE Embassy marks 47th National Day

Manama, Dec.1 (BNA): A photo expo marking the 47th National Day of the United Arab Emirates is being held at the Avenues – Bahrain. The UAE embassy in Bahrain is holding the exhibition, which will run until the 5th of December 2018. The UAE Red Crescent Authority is also holding an exhibition during the same period, showcasing its humanitarian and development achievement in the local, regional and international arenas. The RCA exhibition also featured documentary films and publications, showcasing the UAE leading role in extending lifelines and alleviating human suffering in conflict and disaster-hit zones. The photo expo includes 30 pictures, reflecting deep-rooted relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, including one dating back to 1968 and another to 2018. The exhibition highlights solid fraternal relations between late Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and late UAE President Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan. The photo expo also sheds light on brotherly relations which linked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and late Shaikh Zayed, then fraternal ties between HM the King and UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. The exhibition, which coincides with the 2018 Year of Zayed, features political and sports photos focusing on the late UAE President Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan.
