Two delegations on visit to Bahrain

Manama, Apr.21 (BNA): Two international consultancy delegations will visit Bahrain on April 26-30 to discuss developments of the draft national health insurance. Supreme Health Council President Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa announced the forthcoming specialists' visit to Bahrain. He stressed the importance of the project which, he said, reflects the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier on ensuring premium medical services. The World Bank delegation, led by Dr. Firas Raad, will hold a key meeting with the Ministerial Committee for Financial Affairs, chaired by Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa. The WB delegation is also scheduled to hold a series of meetings with other work teams and committee in charge of health insurance in Bahrain. A second delegation led by Turkish former Health Minister will also pay a visit to Bahrain.
