Twitter Verifies Qatar Olympic Committee Accounts

Doha, June 20 (QNA) - Real-time information network Twitter has verified the Twitter accounts of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), Qatar's supreme sports body has announced. QOC's Twitter accounts in Arabic and English have received 'Verified Account' status from the global network, the sports body said. The QOCs verified accounts are the Schools Olympic Program (SOP), the National Sport Day (NSD) and the QOCs main twitter account. Theses achievements are result of QOC's quest to use the social media networks to communicate with the local. regional and international communities and promote events being organised by QOC's sports federations and clubs.
