Turkmenistan Turkmengas State Concern over-fulfills gas production plan

AKU, Azerbaijan, June 19 By Jeila Aliyeva - Trend: Turkmenistan's Lebapgazcykarys department of Turkmengas State Concern over-fulfilled the plan for natural gas production at the Kukurtli field by 40 percent during the first five months of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Online Newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan. Natural gas production in this field amounted to 2.7 billion cubic meters for the reporting period. Some 2,584 tons of gas condensate was also produced and supplied to Seidinsky Oil Refinery for further processing. Meanwhile, the department produced 1.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas from January through February 2020, which an excess of the plan by 41 percent. During the first two months of 2020, 11,300 tons gas condensate were produced, which means that the plan was over-fulfilled by 36.5 percent. The Lebapgazcykarys department performs operational and technical control in Kukurtli, Malay, Bagadja, Sakar, Farap, and Tajibay fields. Recently, German's Siemens company announced plans to provide the department with portable compressor units, which were designed to improve the supply of hydrocarbon feed to a gas processing plant in the Naip field in Turkmenistan’s Lebap region. --- Follow the author on Twitter: @JeilaAliyeva
