Turkmen president launches Pakistan visit

Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, Nov. 14 / Trend , H.Hasanov / Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov has today launched an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Turkmen government reported. "This is President Berdimuhammedov's first visit to Pakistan, which determines the significance of this trip as a milestone in the history of bilateral relations," the report reads. Bilateral documents are expected to be signed during the visit. "During the upcoming meeting, the sides will mull the state of the Turkmenistan- Pakistan bilateral relations and ways to enhance effective cooperation on priority directions in key sectors of national economies, as well as in the context of regional sustainable and peaceful development." The two countries established diplomatic relations in May 1992 and have signed 30 international instruments that make up the legal framework of cooperation. Do you have any feedback?
