Turkish gvt to submit bill on making Istanbul a financial center in a few months

ISTANBUL (A.A) - Turkey's deputy prime minister said on Friday that the government would submit a bill on declaring Istanbul as a financial center in one or two months. Ali Babacan said the government was working on legal arrangements to make Istanbul a financial center. "We are thinking of presenting the bill to parliament in one or two months," Babacan said during a meeting with executives of Banks Association of Turkey in Istanbul.
