TURKISH FIRMS TAKE PART IN 25TH IRBIL TRADE SHOW
IRBIL (A.A) - 14.12.2009 - The 25th International Construction and Ceramics Trade Show opened in the northern Iraqi city of Irbil with the participation of 174 Turkish firms.
More than 270 firms from 16 countries are taking part in the trade show.
Turkish Foreign Trade Undersecretary Ahmet Yakici and Turkish Consul General in Mosul Ahmet Yildiz attended the opening of the fair.
Yakici said during the opening that Turkey-Iraq trade volume would exceed 7 billion USD by the end of the year. "We aim at increasing this amount up to 20 billion USD in the years ahead," he added.
