TURKISH DYE COMPANY STARTS PRODUCTION IN RUSSIA


KRASNODAR (A.A) - 21.10.2010 - A Turkish dye company started production in its factory in Krasnodar, Russia.
DYO, which has 12 percent share in South Russia's foreign dye market and has a strong branch network in this country for 12 years, has built a production facility in Krasnodar.
"We aim to raise our market share to 25 percent with this factory," general director Murat Esmer told reporters when introducing the facility to reporters. 
Esmer said the factory had a production capacity of 3,000 tons a month, and aimed to start selling its products in other Russian cities in coming days and opening branches in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Kazan.  
The director general defined the south of Russia as a suitable place for investments, and said especially businessmen who wanted to invest in tourism, and invited Turkish investors to that region.
Esmer said the company had 20 million USD of sales figure in Russia right now, and its target was to raise this figure to 50-60 million USD, which he defined as a realistic goal. 
DYO also has production facilities in Romania and Egypt.
Established in 1927 with a shop in the Aegean province of Izmir, DYO brands are marketed in 40 countries today.
