Turkish deputy premier says Turkish officials in contact with German authorities
ANKARA (A.A) - Turkish deputy premier has said regarding eight Turks who had been killed in Germany between 2000-2006 that Turkish officials were in contact with German authorities.
Speaking to AA correspondent on Friday regarding new developments that there was neo-Nazi movement behind those murders, Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag said that Turkey and Turks living abroad were concerned about those new developments.
Bozdag said Germany captured suspects of those murders and it was a late but pleasing development.
"We are concerned that racism, intolerance and radicalism have become widespread in some European countries," he said.
It was Germany's responsibility to provide a secure atmosphere for Turkish people, he said.
