TURKISH DEPUTIES VISIT EXPO 2010 IN SHANGHAI
SHANGHAI (A.A) - 25.05.2010 - Turkish Parliamentary Interior Committee members visited the EXPO 2010 World Fair in Shanghai on Tuesday as part of their trip to China.
The Turkish delegation led by Justice and Development (AK) Party's deputy from north-western province of Tekirdag, Tevfik Ziyaeddin Akbulut, began their tour of the EXPO 2010 by visiting the Turkish Fair Stand.
Speaking to reporters at the Turkish Stand, Akbulut said that he felt very emotional while observing the Turkish Stand.
Turkey, with a very deep history, is being promoted here successfully, Akbulut said.
Turkey's Consul General in Shanghai Murat Ulku will host a dinner in honor of the Turkish Committee on Tuesday.
The Turkish Committee will depart from China on May 28.
