TURKISH COMPANY WINS TWO AWARDS
LONDON (A.A) - 19.10.2009 - A Turkish company of property development, construction and contractorship was presented with two awards in the categories of "Europe's Best Property Project" and the "Best High Rise" at the International Property Awards.
The Varyap Holding won the awards with its "Varyap Meridian" project in Bati Atasehir district of Istanbul which is introduced as "Turkey's first eco-friendly dwellings".
The project is expected to completed in 2011.
Suleyman Varlibas, president of the holding's executive board, told the A.A following the award ceremony at London's Marriott Hotel, that they were planning to make a 40 percent energy saving with their project.
"We aim at constructing dwellings with zero energy consumption in the next ten years," he said.
