Turkey's 56-meter-long yacht gets out of shipyard
BODRUM (A.A) Feb 11 - A 6-million euro super luxury yacht, Turkey's largest of its kind, has been launched Friday in western Turkey.
The 56-meter-long boat with a capacity to carry 10 passengers has been put to sea in the resort town of Bodrum in the Aegean province of Mugla.
Built by Turkish engineers and workers in two years at a shipyard in Bodrum, the yacht, named "Regina", features five luxurious cabins and an advanced sail system.
The owner of the state of the art boat plans to rent it during high season in summer.
"But you must pay 100,000 euro a week," Bedirhan Boyaci said. "It will sail in the Mediterranean from April to October, but then it will set sail to the Caribbean."
