CICEK MOVE!
The first meeting between Justice & Development (AK) Party and the opposition has brought conciliation. Cemil Cicek, whose name is being discussed for the Office of the Parliament Speaker, paid visits to Republican People's Party (CHP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP). Detained deputies were on the agenda of the visits.
MASTERSHIP CABINET ON THE WAY
Prime Minister Erdogan is picking up the names to be included in his 24-member "mastership cabinet". After a two-hour meeting with President Abdullah Gul at the Cankaya Presidential Palace, Erdogan was designated to form the new government. Nearly 10 names in the former cabinet are expected to be changed and the list is expected to be presented to Gul today.

Turkish Football Federation chose the new executive board members on Wednesday. Mehmet Ali Aydinlar was elected the new chairman of the federation. Aydinlar said Guus Hiddink would continue to coach the national soccer team.

When Turkey is discussing the real target behind Republican People's Party's (CHP) boycotting the parliament oath-taking ceremony, authorized members of the party made some remarks that were almost a clue for their reaction. Isa Gok of CHP said, "we want all Ergenekon inmates to be released, not only Haberal and Balbay." Jurists and intellectuals interpreted these remarks as, "the aim of the boycott is to close Ergenekon case."

CHP STOPPED BY THIS WARNING: PATH OF SAMAST AND KARAYILAN WILL BE OPENED
The Republican People's Party (CHP), which has tried every way to bring Silivri residents to the parliament, was warned by Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek. Cicek said, "if a legal arrangement is made to enable a jailed person to be released when elected a deputy, Murat Karayilan (PKK top member) or Alparslan Arslan (who staged an armed attack on the Council of State) can enter the parliament." CHP, which has understood its mistake, shelved the bill.
SWEDISH PARTNER TO KOMILI
Yildiz Holding, the roof company of Ulker, sold 50 percent of Komili (oil company) to Swedish SCA company. Komili, which also operates in personal care products industry, was sold at almost 77 billion Turkish liras (TL). Last week, Ulker Group sold Cafe Crown and Besler.
